Our Story

My Pizza Journey 

Growing up on Long Island, pizza isn’t just food—it’s part of who we are. It’s in our DNA, a staple at every gathering, celebration, and even a Tuesday night. That love for a perfect slice stayed with me through every chapter of life.

In 2008, during one of the most uncertain times of my life, I became a single dad. I was unsure about my future, especially when it came to the kind of relationship I’d build with my two young children, who have always been my whole world.

A close friend encouraged me to start new traditions with them, and one of her favorite ideas was making pizza together. She’d been doing it for years with her family and promised it would be a recipe for connection—and she was right. I bought a pizza stone, searched for homemade dough and sauce recipes, and that’s how our little pizza tradition began.

Over the next 16 years, I fell deeper in love with the craft. In 2021, I got my first wood-fired oven—small but mighty—and that’s when the obsession really took off. I've now spent years researching, testing doughs, tweaking sauces, and learning the art of a perfect rise, stretch and bake. Let’s just say... my family ate a lot of pizza (and they didn’t complain).

Today, after 35+ years with a company I respect deeply, I’m finally channeling that same work ethic and love for serving people into something that’s all mine. With my wonderful wife Melissa and our beautiful, blended family of seven behind me, I’m chasing this dream with full hearts—and full bellies.
